| Comments : | I am Robert Walker, Your Mayor for the past 8 years.
I truly count it a Blessing to serve the citizen's of the City of Springfield.
I believe in God, Country and feel that treating people equally from children to seniors is the right thing to do.
Your City has progressed the past 8 years for the better and I would like to continue what we have started. I have a record as a proven leader and the present board works very well together. We have great plans for the City in the Future and I ask for the oppurtunity to continue making YOUR City a Better place to live and raise Your Children and Grandchildren.
I have brought new jobs to our City: The VA Nursing Home, Ace hardware, and we are presently talking with other Companies about relocating in our City.
We are bringing Affordable Housing to our City starting in Summer of 2007. We are replacing out of Code (beyond repair houses) with new Homes at no cost to the citizens.
