| Comments : | WHO AM I
I have lived and worked in Bay County for the last 16 years. I have three wonderful children. Alex 15, Bay High. Taylor 13, Jinks Middle and Chloe 10, Northside Elementary. Those would be the first three reasons why I chose to run. The fourth would by my wife Angela, who said “If you don’t like what is happening, do something about it” So here I am. I have not been involved in the political arena in the past I’m a general manager of a family owned manufacturing plant. Even though I have not been in politics, my work in my family’s company has enabled me to develop skills needed to represent YOU on our school board. Some of the more important ones are: 1) Decision making skills that effect the lives of others. 2) Working with a team of supervisors to get the job done. 3) Fiscal responsibility, in the form of working and creating budgets 4) Planning for growth and adapting to change. Lastly, and very important to me. Listening to the needs and wants of EVERYBODY in our organization. I work with a very diverse cross section of bay county citizens. Those with families of modest means to those who are economically sound. My goal for the school board is to ensure that ALL of bay county citizens have a VOICE in the future of our school system
OTHER INFORMATION
My family is member of St Andrews Episcopal Church where I am an active member of the vestry (Board). I’m an active leader with our youth program. My wife, Angela works with the Christian Ed program.
