Dennis A. DeLapp

Family: Married to Martha 1958. Two children: Lynn Smith, her husband Joel and their son, Matthew. They live in Round Rock, Texas. Michael DeLapp, his wife Pam and their son Colton. They live in Lynn Haven. Having a safe and family friendly city is very important to me. A place where families can live and play in a clean safe environment.

Career: I spent 20 years in the United States Air Force. Retired in 1975 and returned to Callaway and made that my home. Too young to retire , I served the city of Callaway for 20 years, retiring in October of 1995. During this time I worked in the Water Department, Code Enforcement Department, and worked with the Planning Board. I continued to work after retiring from Callaway driving a school bus for Bay County School Board and later a mail truck for the USPS.

Qualifications: Family man that understands the importance of family and a city that families can be proud of. Military career gives me basic knowledge of some of the problems retired and active duty military families may be facing. Many Years as a public servant gives me a basic knowledge of city government. If elected to commissioners seat of Ward One, I will listen to the concerns of the people of Callaway and do my best to work towards goals that will be most beneficial to the citizens of the City of Callaway.
