Comments :

I am Ralph Hammond, I am 53 years old, married 20 years to Jeanie, and retired Air Force.

We have lived in Springfield over 20 years and we own and operate R & J Properties in the City.

I have experience with Personnel Management and Supervision, and Financial Management. I worked in the city sanitation and street departments, equipment operator/trainer and supervisor. I served on the city Civil Service Board for 5 years, and was appointed Commissioner during the absence of one of the Commissioners. I ran for Commissioner Ward 2 seat in 1998, and again in 2004 which my opponent won by only 1 vote.

I know the city well and the needs of YOU the citizens.

I am active with the city government, a member of Panama City First Assembly of God, Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 17, Bay County Veterans Council, and American Cancer Society East Side Relay for Life Committee member the past 3 years.

I believe I can bring new ideas, hard work and experience to the commission, to help make Springfield a better place for you and your children today and the future.

I believe in working for you the citizen, which makes the city, and doing what I believe is in the best interest for YOU, and leaving personal problems and agendas at home.

With your support, I will work hard for ALL the citizens, with our city, other local cities and county leaders. I believe as a TEAM we all can make a difference.

I will always listen to your concern and problems, and will get you an answer, -- it may not be the answer you want, but you will get an answer. I will initiate action on problems immediately, and get it corrected as soon as possible.

If you would like to contact me for a one on one meeting, please call 785-7707, if I am unavailable, I will get back to you as soon as possible.

PLEASE VOTE: APRIL 18, 2006

REMEMBER ONE (YOUR) VOTE DOES MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Your Support Will Be Appreciated.

THANK YOU
