| Comments : | This candidate represents the hard working people of Florida and Bay County who believe in the Rule of Law and that no person is above the law whether he or she is a President of the U.S., a homeless person on the street, judge, sheriff, state attorney, or Clerk of Court.
He believes that the Grand Jury is the shield between the citizen and the oppression and tyranny of a corrupt government as has been systemic in Bay County for years.
He believes that the Bay County Grand Jury process needs to be fixed, badly, and be supported by a State Attorney and Clerk of Court that will ensure proper operation of the grand jury to fully investigate allegations of public corruption.
This candidate will aggressively, and without favor, execute his constitutional power of audit oversight over the expenditures and contracting of the County and it's Commissioners as was lacking during the Pipeline scandal.
This candidate will never bar any citizen from the Bay County Courthouse without probable cause and legitimate evidence of a crime being committed or other real disturbance being created.
This candidate will NEVER circumvent the rule of law, rules of court, or the Constitution in its dealings with the Court, judges, its customers or to retaliate against any citizen without due process and equal protection of the laws.
As an independent constitutional officer, this candidate will never take orders, illegal or otherwise, from a judge unless those orders are issued through proper legal process under the rules of court procedure.
Favoritism or retaliation will not be tolerated in any case. Access to the records and proceedings of the Clerk and court will be open to all without favoritism or retaliation.
This Clerk will fight to reduce the outrageous $1.00 per page copying fee to 15 cents or less to comply with the Florida Public Records law, Chapter 119, so that all persons, regardless of income, can have access to these records of the public.
