I was first elected your Commissioner in 2000 and we had large hopes of solving many of the problems facing our County. Unfortunately, many of those problems are not completely resolved. I have never been a quitter and I just can’t walk away from a job undone. I have worked long and hard for the people of Bay County and sincerely hope you will allow me to continue to serve you. Experience will play a big role in how we handle the problems of the future. You have invested a lot in Cornel Brock and from my record you know that I will not shy away from hard issues. I will always try to do what is best for Bay County.
I pledge to do the following:
Continue to develop strong long range plans for: Transportation
Water and Sewer Delivery
Stormwater
Recreation
Fire and Emergency Services
Animal Control
Continue to implement controls and
Measurements for contracted services: Jail
Incinerator
Major Capital Projects
Continue to work with the Cities through Interlocal Agreements to provide services in the most effective and economical manner.
Continue to work to develop systems of accountability within all County Government areas. To offer full and immediate disclosure of all issues to the people.
Continue to work with Economic Development Alliance to bring better paying jobs to Bay County.
