Comments :

I want to be allowed the privilege to serve the citizens of Bay County as your visionary leader to move this county into the future. When Peter Drucker was asked what the most important advice he could give to a business owner, citizen, or government official; he stated,” that the most important thing is to get busy doing it”!

I look forward to bringing a leader and team player to the Bay County Commission to get busy doing the county’s business.

1.) I believe that capitalism and our system of free enterprise encourages individual initiative and will continue to bring opportunity, economic growth, and prosperity to Bay County.

2.) I believe in property and water rights as established by our Constitution and realize that government and the private sector must work together to strike a reasonable balance between growth, economic prosperity and environmental preservation.

3.) I believe the proper fiduciary role for a commissioner is to oversee only the critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations. The best government is the one that governs least.

4.) I believe that the best commission is one responsive to Bay Countians and is centered closest to all Bay Countians.

5.) I believe as a commissioner, I must retain the principles that have made our county strong but also develop new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of our changing times!

6.) I believe in the necessity of taxation in order to perform and deliver the services in belief 3! However, the best way to control government growth is to limit the amount of taxes imposed on people.

7.) I believe as a county commissioner I will bring continuity and leadership devoid of political compromise as a cohesive team player, coach, leader and visionary that has a time tested multi-disciplinary background and career.
