	Comments :	I am Fortunate… My wife and family are my best friends. I enjoy working hard to ensure their future and happiness in Bay County. You have my word, when elected, I will work just as hard for you and your family for the same goals and together we will all strive to make Bay County a better place to live, work, and play. The citizens of Bay County deserve and must have people with strong leadership skills to work through the changes that our area is experiencing as well as any concerns that our community will experience in the coming years. I have these strengths, skills, and abilities and that is why I want to be your County Commissioner representing District Five. The Bay County Commission needs to take steps to solve problems and needs to have the ability to look forward to the future with open eyes. While we need to learn from our past, we do not need to dwell on it. Listening to the people who live and work here in Bay County is a primary goal of this campaign. We will research the issues and situations that arise and will propose actions that will provide solutions and not promises. Due to the growth of our community, we as citizens, will face many challenges such as transportation, storm water, medical and health care, education and protecting our environment. Planning for those issues is as essential as budgeting for them. As lifelong residents of Bay County, my wife and our family have seen the growth of Bay County over the years. I have a vested interest in the future of Bay County and the quality of life and the continued economic future, not only for my family, but for yours!
