| Comments : | Over 20 years of Dedicated public service.
I have had the honor of serving the people of Bay County for over 20 years at the office of Bay County Property Appraiser. During this time, I worked in many departments of the office first starting out as a field appraiser. For the last seventeen years, I served in the position of computer systems manager. I have taken hundreds of homestead applications, appraised over a thousand real estate parcels and assisted many taxpayers with their assessments. Working together as a team with a fine office staff, I assisted in producing seventeen Bay County tax rolls. I am a homeowner and claim homestead exemption in Bay County. I also own real estate in Dixie and Washington Counties. I have had the honor in serving four constitutional officers: the Honorable Bruce Collins, Harold Bazzel, Gerald Conrad and Richard Davis.
After the death of Richard Davis, the governor appointed his replacement, a local realtor. Since that time I have worked as a consultant, traveling to property appraisers and tax collector’s offices, training them in computer operations and in mass appraisals. I have enjoyed my new job. I have met many fine people and have had some excellent training in mass appraisal systems. But my true passion is in public service. It is what I have done all of my adult life and for this reason, I want to be your next Property Appraiser. The People of Bay County deserve a well qualified and dedicated public servant to be their next Property Appraiser. After 20 years of service in the Bay County Property Appraiser's office, my dedication to the People is proven.
If I am elected, I will represent you, The People, with honor and integrity. I will not forget where I came from, a simple public servant trying to perform his duties. With your help, I can get back to serving you, the People of Bay County. I respectively ask for your vote and support. Thank you very much.

Education: Graduated from Rutherford High School in 1976. Received an Associate of Science degree in Business Data Processing from Gulf Coast College in 1979. Earned the designation of Certified Florida Evaluator from the Florida Department of Revenue in 1995.
