Comments :

George H. Smith is running for the Bay County Commission District 4 seat because he cares about….
…our community.
... the environment.
... the preservation of Deerpoint Lake as our water source.
... managed growth.
... our senior citizens.
... health care for everyone.
... our quality of life.

Smitty’s promise to the people of Bay County is that he is committed to:

1. Independence and Honesty: He pledges to serve the common good, not special interest groups. Toward that end, campaign contributions are limited to $100 per person, and he pledges not to accept politically motivated gifts or those that might appear to be politically motivated.

2. Common Sense: Utilizing good judgments and sound reasoning, he has committed to lean first toward capitalizing on in-house resources.

3. Professionalism: From his military management and business ownership experiences he has learned the importance of professionalism and pledges to conduct himself professionally and to handle the county’s business affairs in a professional manner.

4. Accessibility: Smitty’s promises to be open to every individual in Bay County. He plans to host informational quarterly town hall meetings in District 4 to keep in touch with the people.

Bay County has given a lot to Smitty since he and his family moved here in 1974, and now he wants to give the best and most that he has to Bay County.

It’s TIME to raise the standards. It’s TIME for Smitty.
