MANY THANKS to the supporters during the 2008 election. I encourage you to join me to support the winner of this election, Dan Sowell, in the duties of the election postion. More citizens need to be willing to step to the plate and make a difference. Get informed and get involved. I was blessed to have support from thousands of citizens and GREATLY APPRECIATE your trust and confidence in me. Visit me at LANCO Title & Escrow on 23rd Street or give me call if I can assist you.

Candidate Profile:

Professionally, I have been the Owner-Manager of Gulf Coast Title & Abstract / LANCO Title & Escrow for 22 years. I activated my Real Estate Broker License in 1988 to provide leadership support to the members of the Bay County Association of REALTORS. I feel fortunate in those 22 years to have also gained unique experience by examining and resolving complicated land record issues relational to real estate and title insurance. Applying the Department of Revenue's Florida Real Property Appraisal Guidelines to the valuation process first requires an in-depth knowledge of land records and legal descriptions which create and identify the parcels to be valued.

Strong Leadership is required for this position. Examples of my community leadership are:

-Past member Board of Directors, Bay County Chamber of Commerce
-Past Re-Apportionment Task Force Chairman, Bay County Chamber
-Received Life Member Status, REALTOR Political Action Committee (RPAC)
-Two time Past member Board of Directors, Florida Association of REALTORS
-Two time Past President, Bay County Association of REALTORS
-Past Chairman, Salvation Army Advisory Board
-Past Chairman of MLS & President-Elect, Bay County Association of REALTORS
-Past Committee Chairman, Bay County Chamber Local Government Committee
-Leadership Bay Graduate - Bay County Chamber of Commerce
-Past REALTOR of the Year, Bay County Association of REALTORS
-Past President-Elect, Bay County Association of REALTORS
-Past President, Visual Arts Center of Northwest Florida
-Past Board Member, Foundation of Bay Medical Center
-Past Director & MLS Chairman, Bay County Association of REALTORS
-Past President-Elect, Multiple Listing Service of Panama City, Inc.
-Past Affiliate Member of the Year, Bay County Association of REALTORS
-Past President, Optimist Club of the Beaches, Panama City Beach, Florida
-Past Chairman, New Directions of the American Cancer Society
-Past Committee of 100, Recruitment Committee Chairman Bay County Chamber

Personal / Family:
Native of Bay County, married, age 42. My wife, Tanya, and I have been married for 17 years and have two sons Harrison (11) and Austin (14). We have attended since marriage First Baptist Church of Panama City where we continue to worship.
