Accountability
To Our Students: Each school day we educate the future of Bay County. As a school board, we have an obligation to ensure “every” decision we make is focused on improving student achievement in the classroom.

To Our Parents: Parents are essential to ensuring a student's success. We must work together to open lines of communication. With improved communication between teachers, parents and students; we can curb discipline problems as well as encourage increased parental involvement in each student's progress.

To Our Teachers/Staff: Our teachers are the backbone of the school system and deserve ALL the support we can provide.

To Our Community: Ryan believes we must be good stewards of each dollar we spend. As a school board we must commit to trim unnecessary expenses which do not directly affect educational excellence in the classroom.

True Leadership
It is one of the primary faults of our school board; not to expect a higher level of excellence and efficiency. Our elected school board members must be the “Quality Control” of our district. The voters have the opportunity to elect those who are driven and determined with a heart for our youth. Effective leadership will guide a system in need of reform and return a sense of security back to the taxpayers.

Innovative Solutions
The reform of our public education system does not have to be difficult, or expensive. It is possible to be a #1 school district with today's funding, today's teachers, and today's resources.

Our teachers need the flexibility and the tools to teach this new generation of students. Children today learn differently than previous generations and we must work to understand this difference. We must continue teacher enrichment focused on innovative technologies and teaching techniques to ensure every child is presented the information in a way they can comprehend most efficiently.

Restored Fiscal Responsiblity
We must lead by example when it comes to budgeting issues and refuse to mortgage our children’s future by spending money we simply do not have. Our school district budget should be run with little difference to how you would run your own business or even your personal checkbook. We must learn to live within our means and prioritize spending; working with a plan for the future.

As a local business owner Ryan understands how to balance a budget and operate within a budget. Ryan believes the people of Bay County deserve a transparent budget from our school district that is clear and understandable, without exception.
