Comments :

The Court has ruled that the dissolution process of Cedar Grove was illegal. Let's move forward and forget the past. Why dilute your vote and influence? Currenlty your vote is approx 1 in 500 (15% turnout) - but in the county it would be 1 in 50-60,000. When you move further away from local government YOU lose more & more influence over those who govern. Would you be better served by Bay County? I doubt it! How often does the county government listen to its citizens NOW? How effective has the county government been managing its resources over the past 10-15 years? Do you think the new proposed airport and all the proposed development in North Bay County is going to support them? I doubt it! WHERE WILL THE COUNTY GET THE MONEY? Some of it from you. $65 million of YOUR CRA money WILL NOT be spent in Cedar Grove! When the county makes mistakes or is wasteful, look at the size of those mistakes - in the tens of millions; i.e., the incinerator debachle and the AWT pipeline debachle. Cedar Grove needs the $65 million for your neighborhood streets, sidewalks, street lights, drainage and recreational areas. (already in the CRA). I need your support and VOTE to keep good government. Don't be poisoned by misinformation: Search for the TRUTH in all issues before you VOTE. Your vote counts!
Thank you.
