| Comments : | Janet Beier has been a Cedar Grove resident since 1997. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a State agent in the Commonwealtlh of Pennsylvania. Her work included auditing business records. Since moving here she has worked as a substitute teacher, and for her church.
Her college background in accounting and past work experience was the driving force behind her coordination of the petition request for a state audit of the Town of Cedar Grove. The auditors uncovered 46 errors and discrepancies. Many of these findings are the concerns of the citizens because they involve the Town's financial health.
"Because of my attendance at the Planning and Board of Commissioner's meetings, I am well aware of the issues that should be a priority. These include paying back loans, timely mailing of water bills, and reducing divisiveness in leadership. If elected, I would have only one commission vote for these concerns, but they would be addressed. Do you remember when I asked for your support for the audit, for the preventing of the Ad Valorem increase, and for saving our chief of police? Look what our voices joined together can accomplish! Please vote for me. I'll continue to work for all of us."
