| Comments : | I seek to be elected as commissioner seat 1. I have been a resident of Cedar Grove for 13 years, and I have seen so many changes. I feel that through State and Federal Grants available that our Police Department can get the tools,trainning and equipment necessary to deter crime in our neighbor hoods with out raising taxes. If elected I will strive to get our citizens better service out of our local government. I also feel that with the future development in our downtown area and Cedar Grove North, that if the proper impact fees were collected from the developers that we will have the financial base necessary for getting the equipment that our public works department needs to serve our citizens and it will also pay for any improvements to our infrastructure with out raising property taxes. I also believe that the three minute rule at our commission meetings does not give the citizens ample time to voice their concerns or ideas to help make our community a better place to live. I currently hold a seat on The Cedar Grove Planning Board. I work for the bay County Engineering Division as an Engineering Technician II. I take part in the development review process for all proposed major developments in Bay County. I review and approve the construction in right-of-way, and commercial driveway permits. I also hold office as Chairman of the Bay County utility co-ordinating committee. If elected I will be a strong voice for all the citizens of Cedar Grove. Please support me in the upcoming election. |
