Comments :

I am a lifelong resident of Panama City, FL and proud to call it home. I
graduated from Bay High School in 1977. After graduation from Bay High and attending one year at Gulf Coast Community College, I left Panama City on an athletic scholarship to attend Wiley College in Marshall, TX. While at Wiley I obtained my B.S. degree in Physical Education.

After graduating from Wiley, I returned home to be with my family and to give back to the community as others has given to me. I have also obtained two Masters degrees in Emotional Handicapped and Educational Leadership. I am currently working on my Doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology.

I have been a teacher in Panama City for the past twenty-five years. Since 1986 I have taught at Rutherford High School, where I currently teach. I am also a part-time counselor for Children Home Society, where I’ve worked with troubled youth and adults with substance addictions. My students and clients mean the world to me and I am so pleased to watch them grow and succeed and overcome their addictions.

I have been married to Michael Butler, Sr. for sixteen years. We have a 10 year old son, Michael, Jr., who is the treasure our lives. We are pleased to have such a respectful and insightful son who makes us so proud. My family and friends are very supportive of me in my quest to be the next City Commissioner of Ward 2. Please join my family and friends in giving me your support and vote on April 17.
