Write-In Ballot Info

Federal Write-In Ballot

The Federal Write-in Absentee Ballot (FWAB) is a backup absentee ballot which may used by all absent Uniformed Service voters both 'stateside' and outside the continental United States, as well as U.S. citizens residing overseas. The FWAB should be used as an emergency in which you have not received the regular absentee ballot.  If you have requested and not received your regular absentee ballot, call our office at 850-784-6100 to check your absentee status.  Otherwise, you may download the FWAB by going to http://www.fvap.gov/election-materials.  For more information regarding the Federal Write-In Ballot, click the link to the Federal Voting Assistance Program.

 State Write-In Ballot

Pursuant to Florida Statute 101.6951, no earlier than 180 days before a general election, an overseas voter may request a state write-in absentee ballot. In the request, the voter must indicate that due to military or other contingencies that preclude normal mail delivery, the voter cannot vote a regular absentee ballot during the normal voting period. Call our office at 850-784-6100 for more information or to request for a state write-in ballot.
